Roger Dubuis introduced the Golden Square with a strong Art Deco influence and an emphasis on perfect geometry. Unlike conventional square watches, the case features softened, rounded edges and a curved crystal, resulting in a highly unconventional design. The present example is particularly uncommon, featuring a linear perpetual calendar display that aligns the day, date, and month in a single row. It has a substantial presence on the wrist and was produced in a limited edition of only 28 pieces.
